A year ago today, Maria passed away. It's been a long, sad year., a year full of "first times" without Maria, a year full of many sad moments when we tried to come to terms with her absence, but also so many moments that we remembered her with love, smiling to ourselves thinking about the good times we shared with her. The good thing is that however you feel when you think of Maria, happy or sad, it is clear that the impact that she had on all those whose lives she touched, continues even when she is not with us, and we will never forget her.
Those who knew her well, know that she would want us to laugh, cry and express what we feel, but to be strong and face life with the positive spirit she had, without forgetting those touches of irony that she loved to throw in!
We love you Maria and we miss you.
